What did we learn this week?

Sylvester and the Magic Pebble was a great story to open up a line of communication about our feelings. The kids enjoyed the crafts and reading the story multiple times! When I asked my 4 year old what she would wish for if she found a magic pebble, she replied: "I would lock it in a dungeon because they are very dangerous." Apparently, being lost or losing someone/something is not a path she's ready to face yet.

Next Week (May24th-May 28th)

SYLVESTER AND THE MAGIC PEBBLE (WILLIAM STEIG)
Just read the story to prepare for next week. I am going to love talking about our hobbies, wishes, and feelings. I have a inkling this book will inspire some interesting questions from my 4 year old, and the pictures will make my 18 mos old smile. (He loves any animal right now!)
My wish today if I found a magic pebble: Always stop and think of the consequences before you wish your life away!
Happy Reading everyone.
